ABIGAIL CIRCLE

The Abigail Circle meets at 10:30 am on the third Tuesday morning of the month, except in January and during the summer, at the church.  Through programs centered on missions, these ladies learn about various ways to help other people locally and globally.  Past programs have included speakers from our community’s Children’s Center and Women’s Shelter.

ANNE CLARK CIRCLE

The Anne Clark Circle meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm (with the exception of January, July, August and the months of the General UMW meeting) for study, spiritual growth and fellowship. Meetings are held in homes or the church parlor. Programs include histories, biographies, missions and reports for community, state and national organizations meeting unique human needs. The Anne Clark Circle sponsors Christmas gifts for residents of the Children’s Center and participates in the Annual Bake Sale fundraiser.

FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE

The Friendship Circle meets at 10:00 am on the second Tuesday morning of the month, except during the summer. Meeting time and place is determined by that month’s project.  The Friendship Circle’s major project is the Annual Harvest Bake Sale and Luncheon.  Other activities include, among others, making Valentines, hospital tray favors or flower baskets for special church friends, health kits for disaster victims and palm crosses for the Palm Sunday Church service.

VISITATION CIRCLE

Members plan visits to shut-ins.  Each member periodically assumes the responsibility of organizing small gifts/favors for these shut-ins using circle funds.
