Alternative Christmas is a special tradition here at Central that always takes place the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We take time to pause and consider what Thanksgiving and giving gifts to celebrate Jesus' birthday truly means. It is a time to consider an alternative to the consumerism and commercialism that can dominate this time of year.

This year, we welcome Robin Beeson from the Children's Center of NWNC to educate us on the important work of the new Willow Tree Child Advocacy Center.
