We have partnered with GriefShare to offer support to those in our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Central offers these groups twice a year, once in the spring, and again in the fall.

The 13-week support group meets to discuss important topics associated with the death of a loved one. The weekly meetings consist of a video featuring nationally respected giref experts coupled with real life stories of loss, followed by small group discussions. Those who have experienced a loss often find that they are only beginning the work of healing when friends or family have returned to their daily life routines. Too often, we try to suppress our grief, instead of allowing it to do the God-given work for which it is intended.

This is an opportunity to surround yourself with people who understand what you are feeling, find encouragement, and comfort while being equipped with valuable insight about the changes in your life. Grief doesn't have to be experienced alone. We all need renewed hope for the future. To find out more, visit griefshare.org.
