Kennette has served in staff at Central UMC since 2017. Additionally, she teaches Religion and English at Surry Community College and bridges ministries of the church, student life, and community through both positions.
Along with degrees from Salem College, Appalachian State University and Wesley Divinity School, she also holds a certification in Conflict Transformation & Reconciliation from Duke Divinity School and Level One Chaplain certification from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
When not serving in ministry, Kennette enjoys hiking, time on the beach or a mountain lake, reading, exploring God’s creation through new adventures, and amateur photography.
