From a little town called Bethlehem in the Hickory, NC area, Kisha began her faith journey assisting her grandmother who served in Christian Education and taught Sunday School at their local UMC for over 60 years. During that time, she discovered her passion for helping children and youth in their own faith journey. Those years led her to Mount Airy, and on to Central UMC in 2014 after receiving her degree in Christian Education from Pfeiffer University. During a shift in 2018 she also joined the staff as a teacher at Central Methodist Child Center, our connected preschool that has been in establishment for over 60 years.
Kisha also holds a degree in Interior Design and is a Gold Seal Judge and webmaster for Drum Majorettes of America - DMA, a Baton Twirling organization.
